This is a series of vocal sound-improv games and exercises. You get to make sounds, using your voice, with other people. Sometimes you’ll be running around, sometimes you’ll be still. It’s kind of about collaboration, kind of about fighting, kind of about play, kind of about beauty, kind of not about anything.
Misha usually does a mix of tried-and-true exercises he’s done before, along with some experiments with the group to develop new ideas.
Every time he does this it’s been different, but you can get a bit of a sense of what past events have been like from this video and this video or this article.
Misha also writes a lot about these games in his book “The Chairs Are Where The People Go”
A visiting Canadian. Misha is a coach and consultant who helps companies and individuals learn how to communicate more effectively and sincerely. He also hosts events like this one, and the Trampoline Hall Lectures. (Trampoline Hall will be in San Francisco on July 16).
