Misha Glouberman Coaching
Leadership is challenging. You don’t have to go it alone.
I can help you get where you’re going faster
Strong leadership is about knowing what you do on your own, and how to get the most leverage out of help from others. Working with a coach helps you achieve results faster and more effectively.
For over 20 years I’ve been helping people and companies untangle the problems that stop them from getting the results they want. My expertise is in looking at the often overlooked human dimensions of business problems. You can read more about me and how I work here, or hear more about people I’ve helped.

"Misha helped me bring about more effective collaboration in my senior leadership team. Through our work together, we set clear goals, prioritized what truly mattered, and saw remarkable progress in a short time. What sets Misha apart is his ability to strike the perfect balance between support and challenge, listening deeply while pushing for real growth. That balance made all the difference, and I couldn't recommend him more highly as a coach."

Explore if I’m the right coach for you: Set up a call
I’m happy to set up an initial call where we can get to know each other a bit, and see if we’re a good fit for each other. You don't need perfect clarity about your goals to begin. These calls are often fun and interesting for both of us, even if we don’t end up working together.
“Misha helps untangle business problems by solving the deeper people issues…and vice-versa. He's got a light and sure touch, a big brain, and a way of sparking both insight and action that is unique.”
Michael Bungay Stanier, Author of The Coaching Habit, the top-selling coaching book of the 21st century
Some bad reasons not to work with a coach
Many of my clients had to overcome one of these hesitations before getting started:
✘ "I'm too busy for coaching right now"
If your plan is to wait till things aren’t busy, you’re kidding yourself. All my clients are busy people. The busier you are the more important it is to put effort into ruthlessly prioritizing what matters most. I help clients do this. Any time we take together should repay itself quickly in time saved.
Taking time to priortize and strategize is an investment that pays quickly. Failing to do that will cost a lot, fast.
✘ "I could probably figure this out myself"
Of course you could – you're capable and resourceful. But why take the longer path? Working with a coach accelerates your growth, helps you avoid common pitfalls, and gives you a trusted advisor in your corner.
✘ "I'm already good at what I do – why would I need coaching?"
I don’t do remedial coaching for people who are bad at stuff. Elite athletes don’t give up on coaches because they’re great- having coaches is part of what makes them great. If you want to excel and grow, you should bring in whatever resources you can to help with that.
“I was able to reduce my workload by about 10 to 12 hours per week and…my sales process has now become about 10X more effective at connecting me with qualified customers”
Brooke Struck, Founder & CEO of Converge
How would our coaching work?
I work with each client to create a customized plan. I’d work with you to get clear goals for our work together. We’d look at how you learn best, and create a path together. Some clients get the best results from regular scheduled calls, some have me on-call for advising as needed. We’ll make a plan to suit what works best for you (and we’ll adjust it when, as is inevitable, life doesn’t go exactly as planned)
“Misha provided invaluable help to me in untangling a series of very high stakes work and interpersonal issues. I’ve worked with several advisors and mentors, and Misha’s support was uniquely clear, empathetic, insightful, and most importantly actionable and effective. He does a remarkable job of combining the emotional and the practical.”
Kathryn Devaney, PhD, Co-Founder of The Berkeley Alembic Foundation
“A lot of my communication ability comes from my work with Misha. His guidance was invaluable. When he’s around, Misha raises the emotional intelligence of the room: conversations just go better when he’s around.”
Sasha Chapin, Writer, CEO Scout Dixon West perfume
“Things that have felt blocked, things that have felt insurmountable, he can help you as an organization quickly get over the hump and move forward and build momentum.”
Mark Surman, President of Mozilla
"I had a work project I was passionate about but kept failing to do and was unsure why. Misha unblocked me and helped me to achieve a string of successes on that project. In his coaching, he provided a helpful combination of listening and being outcomes-oriented that encouraged me to get over the hump."
Josh Rosenberg, CEO Forecasting Research Institute
“Misha’s unique gift is at the intersection of mindset and commercial aspects. My work with Misha helped me elevate my abilities, and had a real impact on my business and my prosperity.”
Chris Clearfield, CEO & Co-Founder of Clearfield Group
